A Life

I’ve lived my life , by emotions alone . My mistakes carved and etched into stone.

I’ve walked between the hour hands of time, and realized that the life I gave was never mine.

I finally found a place called home, somewhere I can call my own.

Each tear I’ve ever cried defined me and made me the person I am inside.

Feeling stronger than ever before, I start a new chapter and walk through the door.

Remember Me

Remember me , when the sun hits the trees with it’s shimmering light.
Remember me , when the moonlit stars dance in the dark of night.
Remember me , when you feel the soft gentle breeze.
                 Iv’e been transformed into energy.
I am part of the earth, sun and sea.

I only come back to life, when you “remember “ me.

Is love?

Is love tangible? Can you taste it, feel it ? Capture it in your hands?
Is love a force led only by demand?
Is love an indescribable feeling in which all humans want to possess?

Love can be manipulated in so many different shapes and forms.

Love in its amplified state mirrors: jealousy, empathy and hate.

Eyes Wide Open

With my eyes wide open I can see all the wonderful opportunities.

Letting go of control seems painful at last, shredding away the hurt of the past.

Happiness isn't as impossible as it seems, I only have to open my eyes and believe.

Fallen

My body’s heavy, my spirit is weak, I open my mouth and try to speak.

There aren’t any words to come out, not a single sound as I try to get my grip and turn around.

I fall on the on hard cement stone and look around but I’m alone.

I try to get my composure and tell myself,  life’s not over.

Broken in pieces, I still have my sight I will find my way through the night.

My Son's

So tiny and so little, I placed him on his bed and bowed down and gave him a sweet kiss on his head.

He curled up into a little ball and closed his eyes to dream.

I gazed at him closed the door and wondered what the future had in store.

Did I give him hugs when he was hurting and wipe his tears? Did I hold him tightly and chase away his fears?

Will he find the little key I left in his heart, when life wears him down and he wants to give up?

He’s all grown up now and on his own, living life as all young men do.

The day came where he opened up my door weary from life’s journey and bestowed a kiss on my head as I slumber in my bed.

My Daughters

I’ve held innocence in my arms and nestled her to my breast.

I gave her the sweet milk of a mother’s love and laid her gently to rest.

Always knowing the day would come where I would have to let her go, so I gave her a map and placed it in her heart so she will always know.

How to deal with life and all it’s pain and happiness as well. I know she’ll make mistakes, and I will try to guide her through and through.

She won’t listen most of the time, that’s what young adults do. With a tear in my eyes of joy and pain I wave her on her way and remind her that I love her each and every day.
